"Every time you get knocked down, you have to get up again and fall in love with the next project and believe that it might happen, even though the odds are against you."
This episode features Elisa Zuritsky and Julie Rottenberg, co-show runners and executive producers of Bravo's scripted hit comedy series Odd Mom Out.
Best friends since they were nine years old and writing partners on Sex and The City and other shows, Elisa and Julie have the unique experience of sharing their career path with one another. On this episode, they talk about their journey, the importance of failure and partnerships, and getting back up again every time you get knocked down. Elisa and Julie are an awesome example of women supporting each other and growing together.
"You're never safe, and that was something I really needed to understand, that no matter what show you're on, no matter how successful you feel at one moment and secure something seems, you're never going to be outside the roller coaster. The roller coaster continues. You have to fail so much to succeed, or you just get out. Having a partnership, we help each other and it is comforting to ride these waves with someone and to know you're not alone when everything just disappears."
